Lightweight: The density is about 1.74-1.85g/cm ³ (magnesium pure metal density is 1.74g/cm ³), which is only 2/3 of aluminum and 1/4 of steel. It is slightly heavier than plastic (such as ABS, which is about 1.05g/cm ³) but has higher strength, making it the lightest metal structural material.

High specific strength/specific stiffness: The specific strength (strength/density) is higher than that of aluminum alloy and steel, and the specific stiffness (stiffness/density) is close to that of aluminum, making it suitable for replacing traditional metals to achieve weight reduction.

Good shock absorption: The damping capacity is 15-20 times that of aluminum, which can effectively absorb vibrations and is suitable for components that require shock absorption, such as car seats and transmission systems.

Electromagnetic shielding: It has better shielding ability against electromagnetic waves than plastic and is suitable for 3C products (mobile phones, laptops) to reduce electromagnetic interference.

Easy to process: Low melting point (about 650 ℃, lower than aluminum's 660 ℃), good flowability, suitable for die-casting (high efficiency, low cost), can also be extruded and forged, suitable for complex shaped parts.

Environmental friendliness: 100% recyclable, pollution-free, in line with the trend of "carbon neutrality".
